San Andreas 300 Dual-Sport ADV Ride scheduled for April 29-May 2, 2022

Adventure riding has grown in popularity around the world in recent years. Not only has this led to the influx of new, more affordable and feature-rich adventure bikes, but it also provides an opportunity for motorcycle touring to grow. Several ADV-oriented motorcycle tours have popped up left and right, the latest of which is the San Andreas 300 Dual-Sport ADV Ride, hosted by Exit Motorcycle Tours.

The San Andreas 300 Dual-Sport ADV Ride gives off-road and adventure enthusiasts the ability to take their bikes to one of the most scenic destinations on the Central California Coast, the San Andreas Fault. The tour is open to any rider with the skills to conquer the terrain, as well as an enduro, dual-sport, or adventure bike with enough off-road gear to traverse the landscape. The tour will include several trails suitable for different skill levels and will take place over four days, from April 29 to May 2, 2022.

On the weekend, two classic enduro trails, the Hi Mountain Enduro in Pozo and the Leapin’ Lizard in Ballinger Canyon will be open for riders to explore. Additionally, a two-day ride through the San Andreas Fault Zone is also available. It will consist of loops around Ballinger Canyon on the weekend and back to Pozo on Sunday. Meanwhile, sections of trails with three difficulty levels will be open all weekend and are rated for A, B and C runners.

For runners who choose to stay through Monday, a ride at Pismo Beach, as well as dual-sport loops at Pozo will be open to choose from. All of the roads on the circuit will be two-lane dirt roads and pavement, so should be suitable for most ADV bikes. Plus, GPS trackers, lodging and camping amenities, fuel portage, plus meals and a t-shirt are included in the package. That being said, it’s looking like a busy weekend for the San Andreas 300 Dual-Sport ADV Ride, so you might want to plan ahead and see what tours you’d like to do ahead of time.
