Delhi-based electric vehicle maker Komaki Electric Vehicles has announced that it will launch India’s first electric cruise motorcycle in January 2022. The company released a teaser image showing a silhouette of the upcoming motorcycle from electric cruise. No other details were disclosed. According to the company, the new electric cruising motorcycle will be an affordable product and is expected to be a game-changer in the electric two-wheeler segment. Komaki already offers four electric bikes in the Indian market, and the company says that with the new electric cruiser, it will seek to dominate the electric vehicle industry.

Commenting on the long-awaited launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Director of Komaki’s Electrical Division, said, “This is something that we have been working on for some time. Our ultimate goal is to meet the needs of each customer segment. we have established a solid foothold in the utility segment, we are also looking to meet the demands of the leisure segment. The launch of our new cruiser is a statement that EVs aren’t just for everyday use. They can also be a great leisure companion. We know that many people have been waiting for an offer like this for a long time, and we are happy to have made India’s first electric cruiser.

Komaki Electric Vehicles offers electric scooters like TN95 and SE, both in the electric scooter segment. The manufacturer claims that the new SE electric scooter competes with conventional 125cc scooters and is powered by a 3kW BLDC electric motor with a removable lithium-ion battery. The Komaki SE offers a top speed of 85 km / h with a range of 95 to 125 km on a single charge. The TN95 is a big electric scooter designed for Indian families. It receives a rear mounted storage box with metal protection around the body. The scooter has a range of 100 to 150 km on a single charge and it has a removable lithium-ion battery.
