The 2022 KTM bisport range is here, and the big news is the update to the WP Xplor suspension. There are two high-performance dual-sport KTM models for 2022: the SOHC 511cc 500 EXC-F and the DOHC 350cc 350 EXC-F.

  1. The WP Xplor 48mm fork tubes benefit from a new oil bypass. KTM says it reduces friction.
  1. The fork has more rebound damping for 2022. The damping change is made via a single 2mm hole in the compression cartridge which replaces four 6mm holes.

  1. The WP Xplor fork springs are polished in order to keep the fork oil clean.
  1. The WP Xplor shock will hit less hard in 2022. There is a new taper bush between the pistons.

  1. To reduce discoloration, the shock gets a new, softer main O-ring.
  1. Due to the change in Xplor fork action and Xplor shock updates, new shock settings have been added. If the new settings don’t suit you, but the fork and shock are fully adjustable.
